Our goal is to generating as much energy as possible from safe, clean, and local sources. Our heating is provided by a forced air ground source geothermal heat pump which does not burn any fossil fuel. We have been using a blend of biodiesel (soy based clean burning diesel) in our vehicle and tractor.
2008: Installed our 9 panel 1.5 Kw grid-tied battery backup solar system.
2009: The second phase of our solar system is complete with an additional 12 panels. We have a total of 21 panels rated at 4.0 Kw.
